Radon
Testing
Radon, a radioactive gas, is the second leading cause of lung
cancer in the United States. Radon forms from the decay of uranium
in soil and rock, and seeps into dwellings through cracks in the
floors and walls or through gaps in the foundation around pipes,
wires, and pumps. The only way to know if a house has radon is
to test it. For more information on radon see our links section.
