Drewry Home Inspections, Inc. (DHI) of Fairfax, Virginia, is a family owned and operated business. It was founded in 1988 by its President, David R. Drewry. Since its inceptioin in 1988, DHI has performed over 20,000 home inspections in the Northern Virginia area. DHI was established to assist prospective home buyers in the decision-making process regarding the purchase of new and resale homes in Northern Virginia. DHI is incorporated in the State of Virginia and is a licensed business in Fairfax County. Additionally, David holds a Class B Commonwealth of Virginia Contractors License (#2705 015832) and has over 20 years experience in home repair, remodeling, construction and inspection. DHI follows the standards of practice established by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).®

Mr. Drewry has been an active member of ASHI since 1988 (ASHI Certified Inspector #2773). He has served on the Board of Directors of both ASHI and the Virginia Association of Real Estate Inspectors (VAREI). David is a charter member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of ASHI and was its first president. Additionally, he is a Residential Radon Measurement Service Provider listed with the National Radon Proficiency Program of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and with the Commonwealth of Virginia as a radon tester in the Commonwealth (NEHA ID #101247RT). Mr Drewry is a Commonwealth of Virginia Certified Home Inspector (Certification #326).

Mr. Drewry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Arts Education and a Masters of Education in Industrial, Vocational and Technical Education with a minor in Engineering Graphics from Mississippi State University. He is a graduate of the Property Inspector's Training Institute and of the Environmental Protection Agency's Radon Mitigation and Radon Measurement certification program. Mr. Drewry retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years service and is a Vietnam War veteran.

Anna, David's wife, manages the office and schedules home inspections and radon tests.
